Hello and happy new year Mozilla !

I just saw that there isn't 'list tabs' (V) in the vertical layout. Did you have any idea of how to rectify this small oversight ? Thank for this browser. <3

I want to view more tabs across the top and opened about:config > browser.tabs.tabMinWidth > and changed value to 75. For the rest of the session it worked. Opening a new session and the tab width is 100 again. Help?

I'm running Firefox 128.13.0 ESR (64-bit) on Windows 11 (Lenovo desktop).

If I use a Private Window, does that mean that "Containers" are redundant/not needed? If not, please explain in depth.

If I use a Private Window, does that mean that, while I have the browser open, any temporarily saved data can be accessed by any website? If so, could I use a Container, in a Private Window, only for those sites for which I need to keep cookie(s) (i.e. bank logins, shopping carts, etc.).

I noticed that SOME container extensions let you select to "Allow in Private Windows" and SOME do NOT. I noticed specifically that "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" will not let you select to "Allow in Private Windows", and my understanding is that this is required for ANY Containers to function. Is that correct? It's a bit confusing.

I have had some sites break using the standard browser (with Containers), that will often work if I use a Private Window. Often, all that seems broken is the "Captcha"; it just doesn't appear and the form will not complete without it. However, it works in a Private Window.

I'm a little confused about which does exactly what. I don't use Google or any social media sites and I don't want any of them to have access to any of my information.

I have also encountered an ongoing problem that is very frustrating and time-consuming: When I click a link in a webpage, 10 to 30 tabs will quickly open, instead of only one, and each has to be closed separately. This happens nearly all the time. Is there a solution to this?

I have pinned tab, but reaching them is inconvenient. I have to wait until the "List al tabs" menu appears. Is there such a thing as having the pinned tabs always visible at the beginning of the tab bar?

I also like this new sidebar pop out. Is there any way to place selected tabs there? There is this 'Tabs form other devices" options. Since that is the case, I don't understand the point of not allowing us to put tabs ion that sidebar from anywhere we like.

In many cases when one opens a new tab, the new one is opened on the right of the "parent tab". After reading the web page of the new tab, one often decides that the new tab is no longer useful and deletes it. Firefox automatically opens the tab on the right of the deleted tab, rather than resuming the "parent tab" on the left. This seems to be an ineffective design as probabilistically there are perhaps >90% chance one wants to go back to the "parent tab".

Q1: should Firefox change the default for resuming the left? Q2: is there a setting that user can change?

Within a few weeks or months, tabs I hadn't closed would suddenly disappear, even though I had checked the "Open previous windows and tabs" option in the settings.

in the useless 141 update, pinned tabs now scroll the same way as unpinned ones, this is a problem for my 300+ tabs. I specifically pinned some tabs to have access to them all the time. with the new useless update, I now have to scroll forward/backward 300 tabs. do you really have such low-skilled testers and incompetent programmers that you didn't foresee this situation?

I keep tabs up on a Window when I do "research". I will minimize the Window or at some point Close the window eventually and I EXPECT MY TAB HISTORY TO BE THERE UNTIL I TELL FIREFOX TO CLOSE THEM!!! My choice!! That's #1.

1. 2 - too often because of the above, I must go to History to "RE-OPEN all tabs" Too often - Clicking "Re-open all tabs" Does NOT work!!! Even if it's 5 minutes later???

when they should not have been closed in the first place. Poor function now requiring me to RE-sign in to what ever websites "G-mail" "Facebook" other stuff - I had on my Window and re type in all the work I already had up and ready to get back to work on.

This "tool" that supposedly wants me to use it that it's main function is "to make my life easier" does NOT get to waste my time over and over again. Used to work great - NEW IMPROVED FIREFOX SUCKS!!

Hello! Recently i migrate to Windows 11 25H2 and when i use sleep mode and open browser after waking PC up - browser opens without all previously opened tabs and i need always use Ctrl+Shift+T to restore them. Sure, checkbox to "restore all previous tabs" are on. BUT! If i reboot PC (via shutdown or Shift+Reboot) and launch browser - all previously opened tabs are present. Found this issue 2-3 weeks ago and still cannot fix it.

All of my tabs at the top of the Firefox window have vanished. There's a list of websites at the left side to choose -- but I am not able to open more than one window. I want to restore all of my tabs!

I would like to bulk delete all tab groups in firefox because there really are too many and it's cumbersome to ungroup each of them one by one. How can I do this? Changing the `browser.tabs.groups.enabled setting in `about:config` to `false` does not seem to remove them at all!

Hello, I periodically check to see if there is a way to stop dynamic tab resizing without having to edit the registry. I have tried several methods involving tab size in settings and nothing has worked to stop the dynamic resizing. Any new ideas out there?

However, while it does say it's a slow rollout it doesn't say anywhere how I can permanently disable this feature so that I never have to see it. I do not want any AI crap in my browser. There's plenty enough of this shit shoved down my throat from every direction as it is. If you're going to bake AI into the Firefox browser then I'd rather leave Firefox and find a different browser.
