My Windows 10 Pro laptop computer crashed a couple of days ago and no longer works. I am considering replacing it with a new Macbook Air. My files are backed up with Carbonite. Will I be able to get my saved passwords back by restoring my Firefox profile to the proper folder on the Mac? (I already know that Carbonite's backup program will not do a "file restore" between Mac and Windows; I will likely be paying Carbonite an extra $100 so they can put my files on an external drive and ship i to me.) | (I have a lot of the passwords saved in Safari on my iPhone and old iPad mini 2, but there are some I did not want to save on the mobile devices. They are also not on the much older Windows laptop I am currently using. Therefore, I cannot access certain sites right now unless I am willing to change the passwords.)

When I open my emails, I get an automatic default to email REPLY. I cannot open my emails for reading and attachments. Also, I no longer get the time of the email listed. How do I restore my settings?

Every other browser works fine. This one stopped dead on Win10 and Android9. It wont stream even in safe and my Android has no add ons

ever time i watch something i will go to pause it and noting will happen and if hover over a video and preview it won`t stop until i close the tab how do i turn this off?

My Problem: When I open any Dropdown for my Favorites (including the Bookmarks arrow on the left) it leaks past the Firefox Window and behind my Windows toolbar (When Using DisplayFusion only, more on that later). What would fix the problem:

• The behaviour of the Favorites dropdowns should be the same as the Settings one in my opinion.
• I would be fine with dropdowns staying inside the Firefox Window at all time.

However, I am using a software called DisplayFusion that overrides Windows ToolBar for extra features and customization. The dropdown goes behind DisplayFusion's toolbars. I will also ask the devs on their side for a solution but I still think the dropdowns behaviours between Settings and Bookmarks on Firefox should be the same.

Windows 10. Have used Firefox for years with no problem. Out of the blue, when Firefox is invoked, it comes up, but the screen dims after a few seconds, an the hourglass appears and Firefox freezes at that point. I have to use Task Manager to close it. I tried uninstall and that failed. Then I manually deleted the Firexfox program files. When I tried to install the program from Firefox, that failed as well with a window that pops and says there was a problem. Then the install window freezes (!) and again I have to resort to Task Manager to stop the program. What to do to get Firefox running again? Thanks. Bob Ochsman ochsman@gmail.com

I have two questions:

1. Will WASM and JIT be turned on or not affect the operation of RLBox?

I currently have the following about:config settings set to false, I'm wondering if this will cause the RLBox to not function?

I hope Mozilla staff will consider listing the operating status of RLBox in about:support, so that it will be clear at a glance.

2. Enabling "security.sandbox.content.shadow-stack.enabled" will cause add-ons to not function properly.

This setting seems to have been around for a long time. Is there any progress on this? Chrome has supported this feature for quite some time.

I would be grateful if you could help clarify this and inform me of the answer.

Apologies if I'm repeating a previous request - couldn't tell if it was submitted.

I'm running Windows 10. While changing the startup screen somehow an image I thought was deleted appeared and now is frozen, apparently on top of a Firefox window. I've rebooted, restarted and followed the Windows help suggestions with no success. Right now I don't know whether this is a Firefox or Windows problem. I updated Firefox today to the newest version before this happened.

Any help will be appreciated. I can open new Firefox windows.

I am experiencing a significant issue with my website, which fails to load when accessed via Google Chrome. The website works perfectly on other browsers like chrome, Safari, and Edge.However, when attempting to Click here in mozila, the page remains blank and does not load at all. Additionally, I have noticed a persistent problem with reCAPTCHA. Even though I solve the CAPTCHA correctly, it repeatedly appears, preventing me from accessing the site. I see TWO profiles listed.

As the current one isn't what I want I try the second one "launch in new browser" - as said in the notes.

All that does is throw me back to the "welcome to Firefox" page.

No, it isn't the end of the world, but I had a few open windows/tabs. (By comparison to this machine which has A LOT of windows and tabs open)

They were useful/used/needed stuff.

It is a DIFFERENT MACHINE to this one. I haven't logged in here from the OTHER machine - may in the future if required/asked.

I'll try to leave well enough alone for now, but I do need that machine and this is a huge bump in the usual smooth flow of things.

BTW - just mentioning. MANY sites showed/suggested how to restore previous sessions but they all point to the HISTORY menu and then show RESTORE OLD SESSIONS.

Doesn't exist on either of my machines.

Ive been using firefox for many years. The new update took away the bookmarks toolbar. My preferences are still "Always on". But, I can only access Bookmarks through a drop down menu. Just wanted you to know. Thanks

I was told eventually after clearing cookies and site data and refreshing the webpage that it doesn't work properly with Firefox and that I needed to use Google Chrome or Edge.

Can this be fixed or not?

I haven't downloaded anything recently (at least not that I know of) and for the past two days now every time I open up firefox, the search bar and images glitch white. You can't see what you're typing and when you go to images on google, all of it turns white. It happens to every website I go to, certain things turn white. Doesn't happen with Chrome, just Firefox. I've cleared the cache and data on it but that doesn't do anything. I've restarted my laptop and tried to make sure it wasn't my laptop that was the problem. I'm nervous to uninstall and reinstall cause I don't want to lose my passwords saved here.

Every time I try to make a comment to an article in Yahoo News, it gets rejected. I can't even post the word testing and it gets rejected. Attached is a screenshot.

Can you tell me why gmail is recently (within the past 2 months) showing that Firefox has authorized access to my gmail account? It is sometimes showing up as accessing the account minutes before I even log in. It never did this before, but I use a security key to access my gmail account--could this be causing it? The security key mfr says there is no way it can be the key causing this and suggested contacting Firefox. I have reinstalled Firefox and the same thing happens. I have never given Firefox or any other application access to my gmail account. Thank you for any answers you can provide.

When using Firefox to access Hulu Hulu does not accept my password though it does let me reset my password. I CAN access Hulu using DuckDuckGo and IE. Have not been able to get through to Hulu.
