Being a weird person, I always saved my sites on my firefox browser and for my own reasons, hadn't bookmarked them and always kept them open on tabs to pick up and read at a later date, and as a result, racked up a lot of different tabs that were all very dear to me. However due to a catastrophic hardware failure a few hours ago I lost everything on my local files, including my backups of all the firefox tabs. I was hoping that if there was a remote possiblility that if the sync was able to record tabs, that it would also save all tab information from previous browser sessions.

I have selected the 4 rows for shortcuts on my tab and have installed all but the last 3 spaces in the end of the 4th row. There's no option whatsoever to continue to add those remaining 3 spaces. Any suggestions?

I have been using Firefox for 20 years. My company Ameriprise Financial has uninstalled it and when I try to reinstall, they immediately uninstall it. They tell me there are security vulnerabilities with Firefox. WTH Firefox?

They want me to us Google Chrome now instead.

We have a intranet site that works in Edge and Chrome without issues with the site added to "internet options". But for some reason we are getting 401 Unauthorized when trying to access it from Firefox. I have tried adding the urls to: network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies: true network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-non-fqdn: true network.auth.force-generic-ntlm: false network.auth.force-generic-ntlm-v1: false

Ingocnito mode , same error. I have tried disabling all plugins. Disabled DNS over HTTPS.

when accessing websites where Cloudfare is part of the sequence the page hangs on cloudfare and the page is not displayed. Every time data is transferred through cloudfare the page hangs on cloudfare rending the search useless.

Since last update...the reaction emojis on Facebook are blacked out. The entire bar of emojis are not visible. It is all black. Yet the words are visible when hovered over. There seems to be nothing wrong with the FB site and it has been suggested it could be the browser. So if you have any reports of glitches like this ...would be nice if you could fix. I am attempting to copy a FF profile from a Windows 11 machine I created it and am using it on to a brand new windows 11 machine on which I have also just installed FF on. Both machines are at FF 150.0.3. I have done a search online for the methods to do this but they have both failed for me.

The first one I tried was simply copying the profile from the existing (source) machine to the profile folder in the new machine however FF never recognized the copied profile on the new machine (I am using profile manager on both machines).

I then tried copying the profile using the method we used to use a while back to copy profiles which is to let profile manager create a new profile in the new machine, open FF so that it creates that new profile in the profiles folder then delete the contents of that profile leaving it as an empty profile (with the name of the newly created FF profile). Then, I selected and copied the *entire contents* of the source profile I was trying to copy and pasted them into the newly created profile I had just zero'ed out on the new machine so that the new profile now had the exact same contents as the source profile. I knew this copy was successful because it took a while to copy all of the data from the source profile to the new profile and the indicator showed it copying.

Again, FF did not recognize the new profile when I opened FF with the name of the new profile in the prof mgr.t.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem may be? One problem I had when I first copied the source profile to my 32GB USB drive was a message saying "inbox folder is too big for destination system. " The source profile is 12.72 GB so there is plenty of room on the USB drive for it to fit. I have no idea why FF would have an inbox file so I just skipped it. The rest of the profile copied to completion once I did that but its size after copying was now only 7.65 GB, about 5 GB less than the original. Could this be my problem and if so, how do I fix it? Since dawn of times I'm using Firefox with a search box in the center of my Home page for new tabs and windows. It is the most important tool in my life as a web content manager. A few years ago my searches suddenly started to jump to the URL bar as soon as I started typing. An URL bar is - as the says - for URL's and it sits way at the top of my 27" and 32" screens, where my focus is not.

Luckily, this forum saved me with the about:config setting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar > false to save my life.

A few months ago this was broken by 148.something. After about a month in hell that was repaired with a dot release. And now (151.0.3, Windows 11) it's broken again:

In normal mode it still works as expected, but the search box is not in the center anymore, it has been moved up to about 300 px from the top. Fixed, independent from window size !?! If you make the window small it moves out sight eventually.

In Private Windows it is still in the center vertically, but browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar > false does not seem to work there. As soon as I start typing it jumps to the address bar.

I just installed Firefox on my PC haven't had it on this computer since reinstalling windows - I imported my bookmarks and passwords from Edge, thinking it would be a seamless transition, since I used Firefox in the past without much trouble.

Two weeks on, about 95% of every page I open gives an error similar to the one below, and I have to shift+refresh several times to get it to reload before it goes away, (some sites still don't open).

I wonder how common this issue is, and how people fixed it?

I had this trouble after Firefox's previous update, where the browser would just close as I was in a tab. It had stopped so I thought the problem was fixed. However, it just updated the browser a few days ago and again I'm having a problem where the browser will just close in the middle of me entering information. It does not have to do with which program I am in as it just seems to happen randomly. It does not save any information I've typed in.
