I just got a new desktop and I don't like Edge that comes with windows 11. Downloaded Firefox and tried to sign in to Firefox. Had to change my password and the download seems to have gone away. Do I need to download it again? I want to make Firefox my default browser.

Is there going to be a native PWA for Firefox on Linux? I really would love to have it. I use Ubuntu on my laptop and really don't want to use a chrome browser or some weird workaround.

I can't access the Firefox password manager on my desktop Windows 10 PC. See screen shot #1 from attempt. Further investigation shows a failed update which seems to correspond to the date the access problem started per screenshot #2. Passwords are available on my IOS Phone as normal.

What should I do to restore PW access?

It looks like with this new version of Firefox I have to load my saved password file every time I start the browser, and even after doing the reload some of the passwords don't work forcing me to change them, and I would have to do another password save, but if I forget to do it and close the browser all the passwords are delete. I did not have this problem prior to this new install.

Also I prefer to use Firefox as a browser I feel it is way better than Edge and Chrome even though it doesn't work one a two websites I need to use. one only works on chrome the other only works on edge.

I use ccleaner to run regular cleans on my computer. Noticed after running it today that my history wasn't deleted. I tried manual delete to see if it was a ccleaner but and still no deletion. I turned of history sync in my profile, also checked that permanent incognito mode is not turned on.

Last resort I uninstalled and re-installed (twice, once using REVO) yet all of my history is still there.

Any thoughts?

My browser, OS and drivers are fully updated.

My bookmarks in Chrome do not import into Firefox. I've Tried importing right from the Chrome browser and importing with an HTML file. No success with my bookmarks. I was able to import an extension, but I deleted it as that isn't my focus. I've checked the HTML file and it does have content (viewed in NotePad). I've looked in all the Bookmark options, but nothing imported there. I paused my NordVPN, no change. I've rebooted my desktop nothing changed. I'm running the latest updated version of Win 11.

Please advise.

I'm using the AI Chatbots plugin in the sidebar and I'm trying to log into Claude, but the plugin keeps asking for a verification code and Anthropic only sends a magic link email which doesn't work in this situation.

My bookmarks and history disappeared from my mobile Firefox. Maybe because I took some permissions away? Not sure why that would destroy a few years history and bookmarks I count on being visually impaired.

So Outlook is refusing to let me right click and past again. I thought i solved this problem a few years ago by setting dom.events.asyncClipboard.clipboardItem dom.events.asyncClipboard.readText dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard to True in about:config. And sure enough those settings are still set to True so why is Outlook now telling me it can't access my clipboard again?

Your not on my apps default list. I was told to uninstall Firefox, and reboot and re-install, I had premium adblock, now I don't, and Firefox still on the default browser list? Whatup? How can You help Me?

FIx the update so I can get to the controls of the AdBlock extension. No list appears when either right or left clicking the "puzzle piece". Default is to temp block many website functions after restart so having the control disappear and in a place it cannot be found means I will need to abandon FIreFox as my main browser. Very sad that this last update has killed that functionality.

When trying to download statements from my TSC webpage, I cannot find the download button that is usually displayed in the upper, right-hand corner. When I use "downloads" from the dropdown menu, nothing appears in the download box that pops up.

After updating to 145.0.1, on Nov. 20, 2025, I can no longer open my gmail. It was fine before the update. I've cleared the cache, browsing history and then disabled all extensions. Nothing helps, but a slash in the address field says 'not secure'. Ive tried my usual shortcut https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox and also https://gmail.com. Neither works. How can I revert to the previous version to see if that works.

Hello, I want to get rid of the list of "recent bookmarks" - I don't want other users of my computer to see them. I've already set Firefox not to record history. Online search provided no useful information. My Firefox is always thelatest version. Hope you can help! - Raymond

I have used the site campspot.com for years. Suddenly I cannot get into it and comes up with a 403 error. I am able to get into this site using Chrome so it seems that the problem is with Firefox.
