is there any way to disable the screen recording ban? my job really needs me to be able to access clips of videos so downloading the whole video is not an option, but recently it seems firefox banned that. is there any fix or do i need to switch browsers?

Title says it all, "auto resize pictures using CTRL - + does not work". Generally speaking, the size of pictures simply WILL NOT reduce in size to view its entirety. Even when the scroll-bars are used the picture is still to wide. I have searched and asked for any setting in about_config, NOTHING! I truly expected something. The ONLY STUPID WAY to view said oversize picture is Download it then view. Isn't that a HACKERS DREAM??? YES I HAVE tried looking in SETTINGS and searched for months, found nothing that actually works. So now I have to use that 4-LETTER word... HELP!

My bank's online bill-pay option suddenly stopped working (after years of no problems). The bank's help desk said that many Firefox users are having the same problem after a recent Firefox update. So I had to switch to a different browser to pay my rent. PLease provide a fix. Thanks.

Hello Firefox Support Team,I am facing a persistent issue where Firefox is unable to open or connect to any Public IP addresses, resulting in a "Connection Reset" error. This issue happens simultaneously on two different operating systems: Windows and Linux (on the same network).Interestingly, the same Public IP addresses open completely fine and without any issues on Google Chrome.I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but none of them resolved the issue:Disabled HTTPS-Only Mode completely.Disabled Secure DNS (DNS over HTTPS).Changed Network Settings to "No Proxy".Set "security.tls.version.min" to 1 and enabled deprecated TLS.Disabled HTTP/3 and HTTP/2 in about:config.Performed a full Firefox Refresh (Safe Mode / Default Profile).Since the issue persists across different OS platforms only on Firefox, it seems to be related to how Firefox handles direct IP handshakes compared to Chromium-based browsers.Please advise on how to resolve this. Per Updates critically important open tabs were no longer accessible following the Updates in question. I need to recover the missing activity-chronic or request that the unfinished activity up to the point of Update be retrieved.

There is a website that when I visit it , it Firefox prompts me if I want to grant it access to Local Network Devices. The page continually refreshes, so the checkbox to "allow always" unchecks in a fraction of a second after I check it.

The result is the site is only temporarily allowed to connect to Local Network Devices but I want it to be permanent.

Since I cannot check the "always allow" checkbox, I'm looking to manually grant the website permission. Looking at Settings->Local Network Devices, I don't see a way to add a website to the allowed list.

Is there a work around I can use to achieve my goal? Perhaps something I can edit in about:config?

hi; when accessing AOL or Yahoo mailboxes from Firefox. I normally write email/reply & edit before sending. for example highlighting or making some letters bigger./bold/diff colour for emphasis. Since ~ 1month ago this has stopped. i msut now copy to word doc/ edit, then copy & paste back into email then send. When using Opera or edge it is ok. why was this done??? no reason i can see Also if i access my yahoo email box from edge that also works perfectly you dont need any screenshots as issue is explained. maybe it is some kind of conflicting setting in firefox?

Whenever I click on VPN on your task line I get the same drop down window offering installation. Upon clicking on "further" I end up with a page which offers nothing to proceed to an installation process. I realy feel lost and dumped into a marry go round endless circle.

Domain: j3tourshongkong.com (and www.j3tourshongkong.com) The domain was recently moved to a redirect service (redirect.pizza) A new valid SSL certificate was issued by Let’s Encrypt via the redirect service The certificate is confirmed working by the certificate issuer and by redirect.pizza support

Current situation

HTTPS works correctly in Chrome, Edge, Safari, and on mobile browsers HTTPS works correctly on the same computer when using Chrome In Firefox (both normal and Private windows) I continue to receive “Secure Connection Failed / Not Secure”

What I have already tried

Cleared cookies and site data for the domain Cleared all recent history (including cache) Tested in a Private Window Restarted Firefox multiple times

None of these steps resolved the issue in my current Firefox profile. It appears Firefox has cached the previous (invalid) certificate state and is not refreshing it, even though a valid certificate is now being presented by the server. Could you please advise:

Is there a more thorough way to force Firefox to discard a cached SSL certificate for a specific domain? Or is this a known issue that requires a fix on the Firefox side?

Hi, Firefox is hard to use for me right now. The screen turns sometimes black while using the browser. Especially when opening pdf documents in Firefox the screen turns black before the document opens. Also, after switching to another tab or App the pdf is not visible anymore and also black (see sreenshot). I have tried reinstalling Firefox and also start in troubleshoot mode. What is the issue??
