Every new version of firefox just gets slower and slower. Now with version 152.4, I try to load a website, it just continuously tries to load, doesn't even if load the page just has those 3 dots to indicate it is loading. Nothing ever loads

I am starting to think switching from firefox is necessary at this point because no other browser has this issue like firefox. No other browser consumes a ridiculous amount of memory like firefox does.

I did adjustments to my anti-virus as recommended, did the settings changes on firefox to speed it up as recommended, still same issue.

When you guys create a new update, please focus on speed over security and ensure it loads faster. I am likely going to revert back to an older update or switch browsers, because I don't care about security so much as actually loading a website.

WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THIS ERROR???

I never got this before but now i get this every week. restarting my computer does not fix the problem. this sucks! the article to fix this are way too complicated. how do I fix this? I use Ccleaner and reboot, but that does nit fix the issue either. HELP!

I have a problem with yfdnzfa.com coming up as blocked - malware in my Malwarebytes program every time I open your browser. Anyone else have this happening?

I run Nord vpn, I always exit FF with a bunch of open tabs so I can continue where I left off. When I launch my vpn I either get a page with Secure Connection Failed, or sometimes your something about forbidden. My nephew told me it could have something to do with "keep alive" and the vpn doesn't know the same route is no longer available until it tries to send data. He says there are settings for keep Alive connection or to shorten the connection duration.

once in a while when I fire up my vpn it will load new tabs without issue, usually I have to keep turn Nord on and off until I finally works.

When the VPN is turned On it acts like a dead switch and locks All bookmark toolbar links as well as Search entries stays locked and will not activate? makes FIREFOX dead in the water. (using Brave Search engine) Any advice?

Malwarebytes is picking up and blocking an outbound connection request from Firefox - www.highperformance.com. Anyone else experiencing this?

I continually get error messages for webpages. I turn off my VPN, clear my history. Not sure what else I need to do. Last one was the webpage for Lindt Chocolate. Come on. Why am I getting error messages for this? I have been on this page before. There are other places also, like Macys. Getting fed up with Firefox.

When Using fire fox it loads sites very slow if at all, and does not use correct passwords for the site selected. I use Norton Security and am operating on windows 11. When using Microsoft edge for the same it works fine. I've had firefox for years and have always updated it, but within the last week or so it seems to be getting worse and worse. Any Suggestions?

I've started getting Virus/Trogen warnings from McAfee popping up every few seconds on Firefox. There was a McAfee file on my Acer desktop but Not installed. Windows Defender and Malwarebytes do not detect a Virus or Trogen. Is this a SCAM by McAfee to get money from me? I cannot delete the McAfee install file as it says it is in use!

when visiting websites using my vpn firefox blocks my entry. I have to disconnect my vpn to allow entry to sites. ive tries numerous fixes and nothing works its frustrating.

Firefox FREQUENTLY totally removes added applications attached and it totally screw up my ability to access anything when you remove my Bitdefender application from access then I have to again EXPLORE added applicaitons!!

I'm a decades long time Firefox user, and I always keep Firefox updated automatically to whatever is the current version. I've never had any substantial issues with Firefox in the past, but recently I've encountered some rather drastic issues.

Background: I'm ex-IT, so I tend to be ultra-conscientious about security and performance updates all across my system. I'm also highly alert for any signs that my system or apps might be compromised in any way.

Recently, I started noticing that I was unable to scroll with my keypad or keyboard on certain sub-windows and certain pop-ups in some web sites (not all). I could scroll these sub-windows/pop-ups only by touch screen, and until today that has always worked. I've been using this workaround, because I haven't had time to really look into the issue. Most sites worked fine, but many would not.

Today, however, I logged into what I know to be a legitimate web site, https://blueshieldca.com, for some important information, but this time I found I was unable to scroll ANYthing on the site using my keypad, keyboard, or touch screen. I could change pages through the on-site menus, but couldn't navigate further at all on any page. I can see that there is more information cut off at the bottom of the page, but I simply can't scroll the page to view it. I almost never use MS Edge browser, but I tried it today, and I'm not having the same problem using Edge.

I'm also having a slightly different, but similar (related?), Firefox issue with the typical cookie-settings-preferences prompts that appear initially on most web sites. Any time I try to arrow over the cookie prompts, they immediately disappear. I'm completely unable to accept, change, or set cookie preferences on any sites.

I've reviewed all my settings in Firefox and all the add-ons I use. In Firefox itself, I run the following extensions: Brave (default search), DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery Private Search for Firefox, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, Privacy Badger, and Express VPN (disabled) - I do not run any browser-specific VPN, but I always use Nord VPN on my system. The configuration options are overwhelming, and in spite of investigating every avenue I can think of, I haven't been able to find either a cause or a fix. I'm sure hoping you guys can help me figure this out!

My system is Windows 11 Home (25H2), 64-Bit, on a DELL XPS 13, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD drive (1/3 free), about 3 years old. In addition to the browser-specific security software mentioned above, I run Bitdefender Security. I haven't made any changes or specific updates to any apps that I can link to the inception of this problem.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

i have had intego vpn for some time, historically i was able to use firefox and intego vpn to access web sites only after i had executed a shut-down and restart, not good but it worked if i needed, but there is now an inability for Firefox to establish a valid connection to any website when intego vpn is active, both firefox and mac-os are up to date

what do i have to do to get firefox and intego vpn to work together?

sadly intego vpn performed well with chrome but chrome brings it's own problems:)
