So, as has been announced, FireFox 115 ESR will get updates until septempber 2025. This deadline has been extended multiple times. What factors are being taken in consideration when deciding whether to extend support again? With server 2008 updates you can get windows 7 up to date until 2026, sort of. Ending support in september would still be sad, because people too stubborn or not willing to upgrade probably still wont when support of firefox ends. I am a firefox on windows 7 user myself too, and it would be sad if they dropped support. Ill have to use a backported fork by the community

So thats my question, what factors matter in terms of extending 115 esr support again?

I like being able to select the icon from the address bar, then dragging, and dropping those shortcuts to my desktop. How can I do this? I can do it in Google Chrome but not Firefox.

Во время навигации youtube на главной странице если просто НАВЕСТИ мышкой на "На предыдущую страницу (Alt+Влево)" то ИНОГДА играет непонятная музыка или какой-то непонятный ролик, который я НЕ ВКЛЮЧАЛ. Важно: самого видео этого неизвестного ролика нет, играет просто звук. Другие вкладки браузера закрыты, открыта только вкладка youtube. Использую firefox esr, так как у меня виндовс 7, использую свежую версию firefox esr. Расширения, которые установлены - Ublock origin и uvpn. Не знаю, мог ли подхватить неизвестный вирус? Просканировал ESET, потом поставил антивирус comodo - все чисто по мнению данных антивирусных проверок, но вот проблема не решилась. Очень хотел бы, чтобы вы разобрались с этим вопросом. The lack of visible emotion icons only occurs on Facebook. Only two are visible. They're there and work with a mouse click, but they're invisible. Reinstalling Firefox didn't help. The problem doesn't occur in other browsers.

I am trying to use Bitwarden to simplify my password process. I use Firefox as my browser and downloaded the free app, created a master password. But I'm stuck. I'm having difficulty getting a Bitwarden shield icon to show up on my toolbar. Any suggestions and help much appreciated. Thks
