I am watching a movie and would like to use Picture-in-Picture mode so I can continue watching while working, thanks to its floating window feature. However, I can no longer use it.

I have already tried clicking the Picture-in-Picture icon on the video, using the Ctrl + Shift + ] shortcut, and verifying that the feature is enabled under Settings > Tabs and Browsing > Media. Unfortunately, none of these methods worked.

I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. Aside from its extension support, Picture-in-Picture is one of the main reasons I chose Mozilla Firefox.

Sometimes, for no apparent reason, on my Win 11 ASUS laptop, Firefox will suddenly use a lot of resources, such that the temperature jumps from about 50 degrees to 95 degrees and the fan runs full speed. It appears the only way to stop it, is to close FF then reopen. What might cause that?

I also have an unanswered previous question about being unable to pay accounts.

I’m experiencing high memory and CPU usage in Firefox, which is affecting my computer’s performance. One issue appears to be that “FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content” continues running even when tabs are inactive, contributing to increased resource usage.

Other browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, reduce memory and energy consumption by putting inactive tabs into sleep mode after a period of inactivity. I would prefer to continue using Firefox as my default browser, but I need a way to manage this level of resource usage.

Could you please advise whether Firefox offers a comparable setting, workaround, or planned improvement to reduce CPU and memory usage from inactive tabs?

When I try to enter the VA site (https://www.va.gov/my-health) it never opens (see attachment). I use my back-up browse (Microsoft Edge) and I can enter the site. Can you help?

My folders suddenly stopped loading. When I log in, I can see grey boxes down the left hand side where my folders used to be. It looks as if the folders are trying to load, then the grey boxes disappear and all I see is in the screenshot I have attached.

I have followed the instructions GMX provides. Cleared the cache, etc. Those didn't solve the problem. The second attachment shows instructions that showed when I did an online search. Please ignore the second suggestion regarding Thunderbird. If these instructions refer to gmx settings, I cannot access them as you see by the first attachment, there is no way I can access gmx settings. The icons you can see only change how my inbox contents are displayed. If the instructions refer to email settings within FIREFOX, I am still stuck as I can find no help within FIREFOX on GMX settings that deal with these settings. I cant use firefox to connect to mail.com. I can connect by other browsers just not with firefox. Server Not Found

Using the "re-open tab" function on a browser based discord instance changed a bunch of my settings, for one it turned on vertical tabs, added extra side bars to everything, and made every ui element animated. Ive figured out of how turn vertical tabs back off, and while I was writing this, I figured out where to turn off this stupid animated gizmo to select what I actually want, instead of directly bringing up my bookmarks/history. How do I stop a random website from overriding my settings in the future? If discord can do it through incompetence another website can surely do it maliciously and I really dont fancy this happening again. The "best" (and completely unrelated) I've found on how to undo this, let alone prevent it from happening again is pressing esc or f11 because of course everything these days has to drown in AI slop :/

when searching from the address bar (see picture) the first result (before firefox suggests) is not a bookmark and not history. what is it and how do i get rid of it? I want bookmarks to always be the first result. I just went through the library and it doesn't appear in history/bookmarks. thank you

Firefox keeps shutting down and it will open up when I tap on the icon. I have to reload it to make it work, It seems like I have to do this everytime I shut the pc.

I downloaded FF 152.0.6 update and my internet went immediately down (Windows 10, 64 bit). Internet box working, Wifi working, Android mobile receiving internet. Once removing the 152.0.6 by system restore, internet worked again. Anybody reported this or have a solution? Thank you

When my computer starts up and launches Firefox, the window is small and requires me to click on the full screen button. Before this it was opening at half-screen. Before that it was opening at full screen, which is preferred. I cannot get it to open in full screen despite all of the suggestions from this community. It's super-annoying. Why is this happening? What is the fix?

I am a novice and have not modified any code, but have added the extensions Duck Duck Go, Last Pass, Facebook Container, and Clear Cache. I have used these extensions for years and the problem is new. My problem must be a setting because I have not lifted the hood of Firefox or the OS and tinkered with it. Nor do I want to.
