I use Firefox daily for website management, analytics dashboards, and multiple browser-based tools. When running several tabs and extensions at the same time, I sometimes notice slower performance and increased memory usage.

I would appreciate guidance on: Recommended settings to optimize Firefox for performance Best practices for managing extensions efficiently Whether hardware acceleration should be enabled or disabled Any advanced settings that help improve stability The goal is to maintain smooth performance while working with multiple active tabs and web applications.

I reinstalled Windows and downloaded the browser again. I logged into my account, turned on synchronization, but none of the data was synced. I am absolutely sure that synchronization was enabled on my old browser. I tried turning it off and on again, but nothing helps. Please help me get my data back!

I had to remove the Recommended stories from the home page. every source was a left leaning outlet. How is someone supposed to get a balanced news snapshot if all the sources have the same biased tilt?

Pretty sure I've got a problem with a fake certificate / server: in ISRG Root X1. > R13 >. "interfaithpowerandlight.org". This is a legit and very good org, but it ain't no server. A notification pops up intermittently on both mac and iphone that it can't be verified, at which point I've been clicking on cancel. Suggestions, please and thank you?

I’m currently conducting a DevOps training session and we are using Firefox to inspect headers for a web app running inside a local Docker container (localhost:8080).

We've noticed that occasionally the 'Network' tab in DevTools fails to show the full response headers for our nginx proxy, even after clearing the cache. It works fine in other browsers, but I prefer using Firefox for our students because of the superior CSS Grid and Flexbox tools.

Is there a specific setting in about:config that might be limiting the capture of headers for local loopback addresses?

Firefox stopped working properly this morning. whenever i try and open a new tab firefox tries to get me to setup sync instead of going to the new website. I turned off sync. I do not want to sync with anything at this time. How can i get firefox to work again?

I've just switched to Fedora 43 KDE plasma from Windows. On Windows, everything was totally find with videos on Firefox. After migration I kept having an error message "The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support." not only on one site (else it could have been the site). After searching for solution here and on the Net, I found out that it's not related to Fedora but to Firefox when using Radeon RX7700XT on Linux (idem with several distros). And indeed, when installing other browser and testing them there was no problem, even with LibreWolf. So can you please take action as I like Firefox and I would not like to have to move everything to an other browser. And it seems that this problem has been around for at least two years ... which you should be ashamed of.

Ever since the last Mozilla update several of my financial institutions or bill payment sites keep coming up with security certificates warning screen. Is this a known issue and will it be fixed?

Whenever I go to YouTube, there is a green download button, YouTube blocks whole page goes dark. No issue using Brave or other browsers. I use when trying to download a clip I'd like to keep watching to learn, without all the wasted overpriced data I disable the extensions apps I think relevant, then refresh, no change, disable popup blockers like Ghostery & Adblock plus, refresh, still no change.

Using Windows 10 pro on Desktop, 64bit, internet is fibre optic as fast for rural, 16Gb RAM, 7TB Separate HDD's. Reasonably comfortable with pc use Been present for last couple of weeks, use other bought programs to download but unable to view prior on Mozilla, but works fine on other browsers

Don't really have too much to say just needed help on understanding how these extension things work because I am not familiar with them at all I've just learned about him not even two weeks because I bought Chromebook and that's the first time I've ever seen them so I have no idea I don't even how to even activate them I read every single before downloading it but I'm still not understanding on how to even use it or even start to use it I have autism so I don't understand new things as well as others so I need extra help but by the time I know and know how to you know you all this I'd be able to help others after I learn how to you know do it because when I learn about anything new I get obsessed subs and I started learning everything about it

How can I tell Firefox to automatically set the volume to 2 or 3, and not play every video in every window full blast - which is maddening when I'm using Facebook and every video I click BLASTS! the sound WAY, WAY louder than any other devices I have outputting sound, such as Spotify music.

Firefox 147.0.4 (aarch64) "hangs" for 30 seconds to 1 minute when I launch it on my MacBookPro (OS Tahoe.26.3). Itwon't open the simple web page I have Firefox set to open when it launches -- and I can't navigate to any other web pages. When I try to interrupt, I get an Apple spinning beach ball until finally, Firefox opens that first page.

After working with Apple tech support, I have disabled a number of content barrier Extensions in Firefox-- which Apple tech support felt might have been causing this behavior. Nothing works. And I hesitate to run Firefox without some of them.

I tried deleting my Firefox user profile from my computer, but all that did was prevent Firefox from opening at all.

How can I stop this?

I get all other websites and I used to access couchmanagers.com on Firefox. But recently on about 90% of the clicks to this site I do NOT receive the "Current Auction" and "Chat" pages. What can I do to resolve this issue other than use another Browser. This site works fine on my Fire Tablet and everyone else computers and tablets.
