When attempting to access Shortcuts from Firefox iOS there are now additional steps to get to the site than before the last update. Now a user must click in the address bar which then shows the favorites the user has available. The next step is to depress on the favorite you want to access but you must hold the depressed icon to wait for options to appear. Within those options one would choose Open in new tab which then creates a popup that must be clicked reading “switch tab.” Only when these steps are followed just as laid out will a user gets to the favorite website they want. I use Thunderbird 115.18.0 on a Windows 7 machine. I wish to transfer all my Thunderbird data to a machine running Linux Mint 21.3 which has Thunderbird 128.12.0esr. I have not been successful after many tries. Could this be because the Thunderbird revisions are different? If so, can I get 115.18.0 to install on my Mint machine? If not how should I proceed? I have already tried creating a new .thunderbird directory with ********.default directory from the other machine. I have also tried a new .thunderbird directory with a the ********default-release directory as directed by one site.

I am unable to view the comments section after articles on Yahoo. When I click on the link the comments section link disappears. When I try the links using a different browser I am able to get to the comments section with no problem.

I am encountering more and more websites with problems they attribute to Firefox. Many of them recommend using Chrome or Edge and some insist upon it or they will no longer support problems. Direct TV will no longer work with Firefox at all and they will not fix it. Several of my other regular websites will work partially, but have pages that simply will not work with Firefox. I have resisted using Chrome or Edge for years but it is getting harder and harder to do as on line systems continue to have problems with Firefox and their only suggestion is to use Chrome (which works when Firefox doesn't). Any ideas/suggestions?

When I play a video in fullscreen and type something, when I typed something in the IME and will press Esc to quit the IME, the whole fullscreen will be quitted. The expected behavior is to quit the IME only, and the fullscreen should be quitted only when there is no IMEs.

hello, i cannot seem to find a solution online, hopefully someone can help.

i often receive emails with images attached, and most of the time people don't resize their images. you can imagine over time this all adds up in the email storage folder total size.

i dont always need to keep a 6mb image version, it can be reduced after i am done.

i would like a method to resize the received emails image attachment, to at least still have a smaller copy for refence, but not end up with a huge thunderbird email account profile (in the email received not externally saved)

preferably a one click solution, or even a routine i can run on the file system, etc. or some way to edit the received email and its attachment in program.

Thunderbird version 148.0.1 will not send outbound emails since updated to OAuth2. Error message is Unable to Authentic Outgoing server (SMTP) Email account will allow inbound mail , but will not send mail. Have worked through all published troubleshooting steps. Extremely frustrating!

I have several emails (personal and business) that I use and have them grouped in Unified inbox. Recently one of those emails showed up as a new folder (just under Trash folder) in bold type. It has with a varying number of emails in it, now 18. When I click on the 'open folder arrow', a subfolder 'Archives' with nothing in it shows up. When I open the email folder a new page appears with the email as a header and underneath 'set up another account', 'import from another program', 'about mozilla thunderbird', and 'resources'. What is happening? How can I get rid of this folder since I can't read any of the emails in it and it is just a duplicate of the folder that already is working find in the inbox? TIA

The last 2 days when I have shut down my computer then restarted, my Firefox profile has disappeared, along with all my bookmarks, passwords etc. I spent several hours yesterday following all the advice here to get everything back, but nothing worked. I had to create a new profile and then import an old passwords file, which I luckily had saved in Excel. This morning when I switched the computer on, the same thing has happened. I cannot even open Firefox without creating a new profile. I get a pop up box (screenshot attached), which shows no profiles, and i have to create a new one to even open Firefox. Every time I close out of Firefox and want to go back in, I am asked to choose a profile. This has never happened before.Before i give up forever on Firefox and go over to another browser, do you have any ideas how i can stop this from happening, and get my original profile, passwords, bookmarks etc back? Ich habe Thunderbird als Standard-App für E-Mail eingestellt und Gmail dafür abgewählt. Doch wenn ich einen E-Mail-Link klicke, sprich tippe, gibt es entweder gar keine Reaktion oder Gmail will den Link öffnen. "Rechtsklick", sprich langes Tippen funktioniert. --

I have toggled thunderbird as standard and gmail off. But either there is no reaction at all, if I click an email link, or gmail wants to open it.
