Hi - I initially googled this issue and found that it's already been raised several times on these forums and received a response along the lines of "This is a feature, not a bug" and marked as solved - but respectfully, it's a downright awful feature, and I believe it ought to be resolved.

Trying to search for specific items in browser history on Android is functionally useless. Rather than displaying a complete list of all webpages that match the search term in reverse chronological order, like it does when searching History on Desktop, it shows a seeming random selection of "suggestions" plucked from your history across all of time.

E.g.: When searching "https://support.mozilla.org", it doesn't show literally any of the dozens of pages I've been looking at on these forums for the past half hour, but instead six different suggested iterations of the same info page I last visited years ago.

There have been countless times now where I, for example, will try to search for this very thread next week, too far to manually scroll back through all my history, and be unable to find it because all that comes up are irrelevant "suggestions." Instead, I have to open up my laptop and search for the page in the browser history there, *then* (if it's, say, a recipe I wanted to have on my phone while I cook) send it *back* to my phone!

It's incredibly frustrating and is really making me want to uninstall the Firefox app and go back to Chrome.

I have had the situation where the FF browser VPN extension has dropped out, the warning pops up, whatever programs are open cycle through and briefly steal focus and the last video I played in VLC has started to play, this has happened a few weeks ago on a Win10 that has extended suppoirt and today on Linux Mint.

I have several MBOX files with me and I want to import MBOX files into the Thunderbird email client. I've come across different methods, including manual techniques and third-party tools, but I'm unsure which approach is the most efficient, especially when dealing with multiple or large-sized MBOX files. Some methods also seem complicated for users who are not very technical.

Suggest me any reliable tool for this!

So normally firefox uses a reasonable amount of ram but sometimes the amount of ram usage almost doubles, then if I try to change tabs the program freezes. I then have to wait for firefox to stop using the excess of ram and return back to normal levels.

I believe this mainly happens when I have youtube or reddit open but I have no idea how to fix this.

I have already tried reinstalling firefox and deleting/changing extensions. The current extension i have on is adguard adblocker and no others.

I have problems logging into a few sites with Firefox, but not with other browsers. What's up?

One prime example is Panda Express.

I have noticed in the last month or so a new phenomenon. I regularly need to access such platforms as Microsoft Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics. Previously with my FireFox VPN turned on I had no issues. Now I cannot access these sites unless I turn off the VPN. I think there was a FireFox update not long ago. Should I be experiencing this issue or is there a resolution to this problem?

Firefox under Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, will not let me input text. How can I get past this?

I am having to type into a text file, copy and paste to get information into a text box in Firefox.

Since the last upgrade, my Home Page has gone from "Classic" to "Smart Window" which does not contain all the tiles I have on the Classic Page. I love having all those tiles on my home page. I have to manually change the page whenever I start Firefox. I am very old (over 80) and not as computer literate as I could be but I don't have grandchildren who can help me with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Went on vacation and firefox updated to version 154.0 and now some of my websites won't get pass the login in says password dont match then changed the password still dont match. Called vanguard they said they I see you changed your password correctly not loading because of your browser which is firefox. I need this corrected how do I back out firefox version 154.0. internet redit also shows alot of people having the same problems.

When searching for any type of URL or page on Firefox, unexpected things have been occurring. The most common action is that the Recent Browsing page opens up instead of the page I was seeking. I can get to that page by clicking the tab, but it obviously should not be happening. Sometimes, I only see a completely blank page in white or gray. Again, I can get to the page by clicking the tab. A momentary blink occurs regularly when going to a new page.

I have cleaned up any unused or unimportant extensions and add-ons, since that was suggested as one cause. So far I have not taken a suggestion to clear all cookies and cache because of all the beneficial browsing that deletes. I have also not totally deleted the Firefox app because I am not sure a reinstall of all of my bookmarks, the homescreen with my 32 preset URLs, etc. will come back.

So I am looking for advice on what steps I should take to resolve this, in order of first taking the least destructive and problematic actions. Thanks, Joe

Amazon A to Z is not working in my Firefox browser. I can open the website, but I cannot use it properly. Please help me find out why Amazon A to Z is not working in Firefox and how I can fix it.

My problem has been for over a year Google not keeping up with my passwords and now Microsoft not keeping up with password they can give me a password I can change my password today and tomorrow they would not have the password so I found something that should be more reliable because it takes me way too long to get signed into stuff so I need access to my password so I can switch over to bid War so I'm not dealing with humans then I'm dealing with I'm still dealing with box so y'all don't have a community either community means human beings not start off with robots and then get to a human being community means I get to talk to somebody like me

It was announced under update 150.0.1 that a 50GB Free monthly VPN was available, however this is not the case in Brazil.

Is this a bug? Is there a due data for the activation? Is there any farther configuration needed to make it work?

I need to check out something that happened today in Firefox browser (Mac).

I went into Settings, opened Privacy and security. Then clicked Advanced settings, changed this to Strict; when I did this, there was a message saying there was an Extension enabled that would interfere with this, and it would be best to disable that extension and instead should enable Resist fingerprinting protection that is in Firefox browser.

   I looked up a Mozilla Support article that told how to dissable the extension; I went to about:config, saw some extensions were enabled. The top item was: "privacy.resist.Fingerprinting" and it had value of True. It was only extension with name in boldface. I toggled the value to False. 
    I was going to do a browser restart, but first I went back to Settings, Privacy and Security, then to Advanced settings. When I got there, I selected Strict level. This time, there was no message saying anything about "there was an Extension enabled that would interfere with this, and it would be best if I disabled that extension." 

My question: since the Warning that had appeared when I was in Advanced settings the first time is now gone, does that mean that my problem is solved? Do I need to try a restart of browser? Also, I did not delete the boldface "privacy.resist.Fingerprinting" extension from Advanced Preferences; should I go back and do that? Please advise.

I can't find a line to add widgets in my settings. It doesn't exist! I've read several articles as to how to add widgets, but then when I went to look for them in settings, there's no line or box to check for widgets. I have Windows 11 and allow all updates from Firefox, so do you know what the problem is? I do have the weather widget, which was added a while ago, so most likely with an update, but no other widgets on my homepage or in the settings page.
