How can I change the defalt filename of inserted image from clipboard? I use firefox with local interface language but I don't want it to influence on filename of inserted images. I don't wanna give any clues in work chats, forums etc. which language I use in my browser.

When I open a bookmark folder and right-click on the 7th item down I cannot select Open in New Tab because the context menu is jammed up against the top of the screen (I believe it is called the Title Bar where resides the date and some of the system menus,) and the Open in New Tab at the top of the context menu is present, will not highlight and cannot be selected with the mouse.

Hi, I am thinking about buying a new phone and wanted to know if i get a new phone and download firefox/mozilla and sign in with my id and pw will all the collections that i currently have in firefox at this time going to be a available to me on the new phone after downloading the current version of firefox? I have a problem with Thunderbird 115.11.1 with the POP3 server inbound.att.net. Someone on at at7t forum suggested changing from Userid/password to Secure Mail Key. I had previously set up two Keys with at&t, but AI have never activated them. I looked at one URL, and was able to change the settings for inbound.att.net. But I did not see anywhere to enter one of the Keys that I had generated earlier. When I tried to re-configure outbound.att.net, I did not see a OAuth2 option. I do not need to re-configure outbound at the present time, as I can send mail without a problem. But receiving mail does not work. Here is what I see in the error console log:

Here is what I changed: Thunderbird: Account Settings --> Server Setings --> Security Settings --> Authentication Method Normal Pasword -> OAuth2

at the top of the page, i get a window that says "This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page. Then it has a box with the word STOP in it.

   what the heck is this and how do i make it go away?  I push the button that says stop, but it starts right up again

Recently, I cleared the cookies and site data from my browser as I'd noticed they were taking quite of lot of space on my harddrive. I thought clearing them would just reset them, but it looks like they were completely wiped instead.

Now, the browser never remembers any login information, so I have to connect to every site I use everytime I open my computer. It's troublesome when some of them have double verification and I have to go through the trouble of checking my email and entering a code everytime. The websites don't ask me to enable cookies again, so I don't know how to make them remember my informations again.

Is there a way to re-enable cookies, or have the websites ask me to enable cookies again?

I did search for solution before posting this. Couldn't find any recent fixes. Using Version 115.10.1 I have used Thunderbird for years to get various emails. Including 2 different att.net emails. Until about 2 days ago, this has been working well. All of a sudden I keep getting the popup to login with my password. I looked at the password file to see what was being used. Hasn't been updated for years. I used web browser to login to att.net account, confirmed that the pw listed in Thunderbird was correct. I looked at my att account and found that I setup a secure key in 5/21. Not sure what has changed that I can no longer use thunderbird for att emails. Note: I deleted the account from thunderbird and attempted to re-establish the connection.. I used the automated process that TB had for the settings. got an error using the regular password AND using the secure key. I tried setup manually, making sure that the inbound/outbound settings matched. Still won't let me login. Something has had to have changed.

I am no longer able to send/receive messages in Thunderbird. Sending of password failed and login failed. I tried changing my password, but that did not help. This happened on 6/16/24 in the evening.

I am writing to request assistance with recovering my deleted browsing history for my Firefox account. On June 18, 2024, I accidentally deleted my browsing history and I am hoping there is a way to restore it.

I regularly play Bejeweled Blitz on FaceBook but I cannot use Firefox to play because if I try I get the message to Upgrade to the latest version of Flash. Well Flash has not been used in many years but I still get that message on Firefox. I can easily play on three other browsers without receiving that message. I have switched from Firefox for that reason but I really would prefer Firefox as my default browser. What can I do? Yes, I am using the most current version of Firefox 127.0 (64 bit). My extensions are AdBlock+, Gmail mail checker. That's it. The same thing happens in troubleshooting mode too. I am using Windows 11. Please, suggestions are welcome.

When I try to view my pictures... Firefox has started to ask, every time... "how do I want to view this JPG file.

I must choose, Firefox, Internet explorer and so forth. I choose Firefox and it opens.

When using Firefox to access Hulu Hulu does not accept my password though it does let me reset my password. I CAN access Hulu using DuckDuckGo and IE. Have not been able to get through to Hulu.

I invited someone to an appointment, but screwed up the repetition parameters. I then cancelled that appointment.

The person I invited accepted the original (screwed up) appointment but did not process any emails to cancel the meetings. How can they edit / delete appointments that they did not themselves set up? You can see how messed up the calendar is with the erroneous entries...

Can you tell me why gmail is recently (within the past 2 months) showing that Firefox has authorized access to my gmail account? It is sometimes showing up as accessing the account minutes before I even log in. It never did this before, but I use a security key to access my gmail account--could this be causing it? The security key mfr says there is no way it can be the key causing this and suggested contacting Firefox. I have reinstalled Firefox and the same thing happens. I have never given Firefox or any other application access to my gmail account. Thank you for any answers you can provide.
