when using outlook in MF sent messages seem not to leave my computer, when using IE it works well. So must be a MF problem?
After sending the message, the Outlook screen shows the little wheel rotating. Does not progress. When clicking on People and afterwards going back to Mail, the message shows to be sent (and arrives in my own account when I send test messages). So it seems MF does not allow the program to move on to the next screen and "freezes" in the sending screen / and the little wheel continues turning. But not in IE :(

Microsoft was aware of this issue. This is now resolved: https://status.live.com/detail/hotmail
If this still persists, try the following:
Reload the webpage while bypassing the cache using one of the following steps:
- Hold down the Shift key and click the Reload button with a left click.
OR
- Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows and Linux)
- Press Command + Shift + R (Mac)
