Sophos has identified ShowIP, Firefox plugin as spyware. I am worried that two releases of this software were passed through Mozilla scrutiny. This is very bad news for users and perhaps an indicator that none of the plugins can be trusted. As a privacy issue it should be fixed swiftly.
