You can create a new Number pref on the the about:config page and set its value to '0' (zero).
- about:config => ui.hideCursorWhileTyping => 0
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. On the warning page, click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.
By "cursor", do you mean the blinking caret that looks like a vertical line in text boxes, indicating where typed characters go or the mouse cursor?
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
