I have seen various work around from a year or so ago but presume this would have been fixed by now?

Is there something I'm missing, trying to enable credit card autofill but there is no box.

Hi Harry, I can only speak for what it looks like in the U.S. -- these features are not automatically enabled outside of North America (for reasons I don't know).

There is a completely separate section for address and credit card autofill on the Preferences page.

You can check and set these prefs on the about:config page.

  • extensions.formautofill.available = "on"
  • extensions.formautofill.creditCards.available
  • extensions.formautofill.creditCards.enabled

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".
