My system is dead slow, crashes or unable to access websites more than it can. How do I fix this? Or do I drop Firefox?

Our system keeps crashing and we are unable to access websites because it tells us to try later, not available. These are websites like eBay, Kijiji, etc. Every website we visit is a victim of Firefox. I like Firefox but I am getting very impatient and so it the rest of my family. Either fix it or I will be changing and not coming back. This is bloody ridiculous. Don't release untested or poorly tested software.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
