Dear Firefox Forum,

I am trying to install a piece of software called HackNotice. This is an extension, that tells you when a website has been hacked. It sounds very useful to me. (But there is a problem.)

The front page only allows you to install either 1) from Google PlayStore 2) adds to Google Chrome 3) install from App Store. None of these options are to Firefox.

Is there a way of getting around this, please?

I think it tells you when a website has been reported to have suffered a data breach. If the site is currently hacked but it hasn't shown up on the HackNotice site, you wouldn't learn anything new.

I don't know if they are planning to bring their add-on to Firefox. If it looks useful to you, please encourage them!

I will mention that some Chrome extensions can work on Firefox if you install them through this tool:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/chrome-store-foxified/

However, due to various differences between Firefox and Chrome, that is far from a universal translator and it's hit or miss.
