After following all the instructions to delete the cache, websitedata and so on, there are always 491KB left.

Is this someting serious I should be worried about like a virus or something? Never had any problems with this. But after joining a democratic group on Facebook I have this problem. No kidding. Should I better look for help to check if my Mac might be infected?

Location of the cache/cache2 folder; Windows: *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\ Mac: ~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/ Linux: ~/.cache/mozilla/firefox/

Close Firefox. Open your file browser to the above, and remove the folder.

Every now and then run a mal-scanner to make sure the system is clean.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
