Firefox 59.0.2 says "login invalid" for webpage even though user/PW are correct. Whyzat?
My email log-in to a Cpanel page using Macbook will not approve and open in Firefox . . .but will using stored log-in credentials in other browsers. Even typing the correct info brings the error message "log in is invalid" and tech support at A2 Hosting don't know why either. . .No issues on a PC laptop, either.
Any ideas for solution or just uninstall and try again? Thanks

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar. Look under Logins,
Note: For Firefox 56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.
Remove the entry for that site. Then login manually.
Thanks for the assist. Now smooth sailing. . .
