Hi, So you are running the Developer Edition. Since it is a Beta and updates almost every day it is somewhat hard to pin down anything. I would think you might want to file If you have a bug. Did you know that you can run Stable Release (normal) Firefox 58.0.2 at the same time as Dev Ed ? There is a compatibility mode that pops up when installing the Dev Ed. No idea how to install after. Also note it shares your bookmarks so should keep backup if do try the above.

My suggestion is to make backups and uninstall and then can install ver 58.0.2 then install the Dev Ed and stick your Profile back into it.

Actually the 60.0a1 is a Nightly channel build if you note the a1. The 61.0a1 builds are just starting on Nightly channel at moment.

To be accurate a version on Beta/Dev Ed channel builds only gets say nine to fourteen builds on average. Nightly gets checkins and two updates each day.

Release < Beta (b#) < Nightly (a1). The Dev Ed. is same as Beta but with added developer features.

The so called Refresh feature is just a awkward way of creating a new Profile as it is not like it does spring cleaning of the Profile you were using.

So not only are you testing the more unstable Nightly channel builds, you are using third-party builds from Ubuntu and not from say https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/desktop/

And before Pkshadow, FredMcD, or WestEnd or anybody else says you should go ask on a Ubuntu forum for help, that was not my point.

Keep in mind that the Ubuntu builds could potentially add their own little issues or not. If you want stability then use Release or even Beta builds whether from Mozilla or from say Ubuntu.
