I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled and now I can't open html in Outlook
I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it to correct some other issues. Now I am unable to open html files in Outlook. I am using Windows 8.1 and, believe it or not, Outlook 2003. Everything worked great until the reinstall. I do not have another computer in which I can export a registry entry and I have tried setting Internet Explorer as the default browser and then setting Firefox as the default. These were some suggestions, but they did not help.

Probably Outlook is missing the 32-bit version of Firefox. It seems to have difficulty changing once the default is removed. There is a link to a page with workarounds in this article: How to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit Firefox.
