I have just reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop computer thinking that it might help with my Firefox slowness problems. I have also ran Malwarebytes AntiMalware and Avast Antivirus where there were no infections. There is a delay just as I am typing on the keyboard to you. I have the most up to date version of Firefox, Java, and Adobe Flash Player. I regularly use Ccleaner to delete temporary internet files, cookies, etc. and I also use it to clean my registry. I have all of the latest windows updates although I am not using Windows 10 yet. Please help me, I am at a loss and not sure what to do at this point. I have some plugins though I do not have any add ons. Will plugins cause lagging/slow browser? I have not tried another browser though I'm ready to switch to one if I cannot resolve this problem.
