Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: After resetting Firefox, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Reset Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox" that looks like this: Button reset. Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After it is done, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Hello, try the next, close the pc, and start it with windows safe mode with network support, then try to download the latest firefox from the next full installer link : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and update firefox with the already downloaded latest version over the current.

Any luck ?

I'll try that. But does that mean in the Main Mode that my Firefox will update? And also I need the whole downloading issue fixed, I can't download anything at all, so that may help the Firefox updating but I need to install the latest version of flash.

If you can download firefox or/and other programs in windows safe mode with networking then probably it is your security software that cause the issue(firewall or/and antivirus, antispyware).{In windows safe mode with networking, security software is disable}

thank you

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
