Starting in Firefox version 154, Firefox lets you choose a different browser icon on Windows. Choose from the available icons to personalize how Firefox appears in Windows.
Note: This feature is currently available only in Firefox for Windows installed from Mozilla sources. It's not yet available on macOS, Linux, or in Firefox installed from the Microsoft Store.

Change the Firefox icon
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and select (or , in some cases).Click the menu button
and select .
- Select on the left and go to the Browser icon section.
- Click the button.
- Choose an icon from the Standard or Special section.
- Close the page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
Unlock special icons
Icons in the Special section are initially locked and can be unlocked by completing a specific action. For example, setting Firefox as the default browser and pinning it to the taskbar will unlock bonus icons.
Note: The new icon will only appear on the taskbar, desktop, and Start menu. The desktop launcher icon will not change.
Enabling a custom browser icon may add a shortcut to the Windows Start menu Programs folder.
