When I open Firefox, it is only a quarter of the browser in the right-upper quarter of the screen. How can I make it so the browser opens fully in the entire screen.

Firefox periodically says I am "forbidden" to enter my Kaiser website (KP.org). I know what Mozilla recommends as a fix, which is to clear data and cookies. But this creates more problems because I have to re-enter passwords and other settings. This is a problem Mozilla's website reports has been occurring for YEARS! Why can't Mozilla/Firefox fix this? Please tell me there is a better way to fix this problem.

Hello! My name is Anya. I am desperately trying to manage my social media addiction and to help support that I am wondering if its possible to disable the privacy window. I know I can install a website blocker - which I have, but it does not apply to the private window so I have full access to social media on it, I just have to log in. I want to COMPLETELY block Facebook and Instagram off of my laptop. Is this possible? Thank you!

I have all my passwords stored on Firefox on my macbook pro. When I follow the instructions to sync my passwords on the Firefox app on my phone, it keeps rejecting my primary password, saying it is incorrect. I have deleted the app and re-installed it on my phone, but it still does not work. Why will my account not open on my iphone app? Thank you!

Hello, I have a very weak internet connection and I've been experimenting with ways to lessen the burden of the slow connection by increasing the time that the cache from websites can stay on my computer (I've already increased browser.cache.disk.capacity and set browser.cache.check_doc_frequency to 2, but the files still end up expiring eventually forcing them to be re-downloaded even though I know these cache files never change).

So far I've had some success with this extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cache-longer/) it definitely works but very inconsistently so I've tried to directly edit the cache files found in Profiles\someprofile.default-release\cache2\entries but every time I edit the max-age on the cache-control line or any other line firefox just erases the cache file completely then re-downloads it.

TL;DR - Is there someway of getting firefox to ignore the cache file expiry dates and cache-control age or at least editing these files to extend their life?

I appreciate any help in this!

i'm missing some of the default search engines in the bar ebay and amazon. i hit the button "restore default search engines" in setting to try and fix it no luck. only give me back wikipedia, bing, duckduckgo but not amazon and ebay two sites i visit a lot.

this been happening to me for the past year and every time i had to go in the c drive and delete the mozilla folders and reinstall firefox to get them back. then use it after a month or two later they disappeared for no reason. this only happens on my desktop and not my laptop how do i make this stop happening?

Every day on the second or third tab the website will not load. If I open firefox again the site will load immediately. These can be bookmarked sites previously used one million times or linked sites embedded in a current tab. Your support pages have not helped. I'm about to ditch Firefox MS Edge!

I am on a mailing list from the Smithsonian Magazine. I receive a daily email containing links to interesting stories. The links work and take me to the correct page, however, I am unable to scroll the page up to read the article. They used to scroll, but not now when I go there by clicking a link in the email. The email also contains a link named View in Browser, and the email appears in Firefox and I can scroll the email, but if I click on a link in that email displayed in the browser, the page still will not scroll up. Problem not present in Chrome or Edge. I previously reported this to Mozilla in Feedback and to the Smithsonian about 2 weeks ago, but still no change in his strange behavior. I'm an instructor that uses Blackboard at college. When I click in the text entry box to enter my grades, I'm given a list of previously entered grades to choose from. The list is in ascending order. Is there any way to get this list in descending order? One other point, until recently it used to display the value that was used most often at the top, which was often 100. Now it's in ascending order. I've attached a snippet of what I mean.

I just did a clean install on a new windows 11 machine. Every time I close Firefox I get a report crash screen from Firefox. When I close it and restart Firefox everything is fine, but very annoying! I have search every where with no luck for a fix. I did turn off my FSecure which made no difference If it continues I guess after all these years I will have to change browsers,which I don't want to do.

Typing "handshake.com" in the toolbar takes me to "https://www.shopify.com/blog/wholesale-suppliers#" instead of searching or going to handshake.com .....WTAF?! Consistently.

Also, why is it so hard to report the issue? I know Mozilla is a nonprofit, but there was literally no way at all to just report the problem? All I can do is message a volunteer? Feels broken. Thank you.

I'm developing a web application. Yesterday I could access it with http://localhost:8000, then, I implemented https and it worked too. Today I needed to use http again for my tests, but everytime I type http://localhost:8000, Firefox changes it to https://localhost:8000.

I already tried to clear everything in the history, even the cookies, but it didn't work.

What should I do?

Also, could you fix this bug? I've found articles from 5 years ago reporting this issue, but the bug hasn't been fixed yet

I usually download and install manually the custom install of Firefox on Windows.

Recently, a new version was automatically installed without my permission and destroyed all my customization. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I had to restore the older version from backup and I was going to stop updating.

But I see that the manual custom installation is still available for download.

I want to make sure that if I use it it will not wipe out my customization again.

Please confirm.

I was in the middle of asking this question when I fixed (worked around) the problem so I'm posting more as a informative post as there is a lot of old misdirection out there now.

I am(was) unable to drag any URLs from the URI drop down field in the main interface to my bookmarks toolbar. Nor was any drag and drop functionality working in the "Customise Firefox" screen (right click space on url bar -> Customise Toolbar).

I have now found that resetting my zoom setting in preferences to 100% restores this functionality. The problem arose when I was using 120% zoom, NOT text only.

Hello, I have a problem: After an automatic update of the language packs, parts of the Firefox menu (version 126.0) are displayed in EN. Parts in DE. Seems to be related to the update... how can I change this again? I have already changed the language settings. Didn't help...it appeared after an automatic update on May 28. Thanks for an idea :)

I have installed the German language extension. I can go to a site written in German and it translates fine. THE SECOND I USE ANY SUB MENU WITHIN THE SITE, IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE. Right clicking and choosing "Translate" does not work since "translate" does not exist on the tab.

The Firefox translate feature only works on the initial screen!

I can find no setting to fix this

After applied Chinese Language Pack, the menu didn't change ,even after restart firefox or the system. I tried refresh firefox and re-install the language pack, the same situation appeared.
