What to enter under "Location" when creating new calendar

more options

Whenever I try to create a new network calendar and enter the URL of the calendar, no matter what I enter it's always incorrect and I always get an error.

For the Exchange calendar, where I am to get the URL for that? I'm using 365 for the calendar online.

Solution:

Don't use the exchange one if you can't make it work. The correct way is to use to ICS option.

Enter your calendar in Firefox, go into: Settings -> Calendar From the panel on the left select: Publish calendar

Copy the ICS link

When creating a new calendar in Thunderbird, select the ICS option and paste the ICS link. It works flawlessly on my system, Ubuntu 16.04.

You'd need to check with Microsoft for the correct URL to your Exchange calendar.
