Hi, So I'm on Facebook. A friend has a new post. The post is all squished together, almost on top of the other line. I have looked over my settings to see if there is a way to alter the spacing but to no avail. I now realized why I stopped using Firefox a little while back and this is the main reason. If I can't read posts on social media apps on my computer browser what's the use?

Suggestions and fixes MOST welcome before I throw my hands up again. Edge is messed up in other ways as is Opera so I'd really love to have just ONE browser that I can depend on. Considering I used to be a HUGE fan of FF back in the day before the entire code was rewritten I'd love to be back in the fold. If this can be resolved I'll stay. For sure.

Hi Everyone! I am missing the delete button on the incoming message that outlook has. I know I can right click delete but I do have to delete a lot of emails . I'd like to add a "delete message" button in the message list the same as Outlook. Is this Possible ?

Hi folks I can't login to my Corel.com account on Firefox but I can with Chrome. Can anyone figure out how I can overcome this with Firefox?

Can't pinpoint the date, but a while back Youtube won't play videos anymore. It just shows a black screen in the player. Not even the player UI (pause button, volume, settings menu) shows. Just a black portion of the screen. Now when I went in to get a screenshot, it doesn't even show the black box.

I need to transfer all e-mail accounts of a domain to a new E-mail host. My idea is to configure a thunderbird client in a server with all domain e-mail accounts in order to back up then. When I switch the domain to the new E-mail host, the idea is to use this backup to populate the new accounts on this host.

In order to test my idea, I did the follow steps:

1) Create a new e-mail account 2) Configured Thunderbird with this account (IMAP) and populate it with some messages and folders. 3) Did the Backup of thunderbird account profile. 4) Closed the Thunderbird 5) I’ve deleted the account a created it again with the same credentials, in order to simulate the account on a new host. 6) Then I Opened Thunderbird and, after synchronize the account, restore the profile.

The problem: As the message sync is done from the host to the client (Thunderbird), All messages restored are deleted. This because the new account have no messages in the host.

Question: Is there a way to use thunderbird to restore all messages of the profile to a new account?

I will need to do this for the almost 90 e-mails accounts of the domain. Anyone know a (free) tool that can do this?

Cox Yahoo configuration was working until a few days ago, then I could no longer receive or send emails to or from Thunderbird.

Today the INBOX folder / Tab is missing, and Thunderbird opens to DRAFT folder. No Inbox tab or folder available???

Yahoo configuration appears to be correct. See attached yahoo verification.

Hi there, after turning on my computer in the morning, Firefox has been suddenly rendered utterly inoperable and pulls up a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR for all websites. No matter what I do, including all other fixes previously suggested on the Mozilla forums and elsewhere, nothing seems to work.

Things that I've already tried and did not work include: - Pausing Kaspersky Internet Security - Resetting WiFi router - Switching to a different WiFi - Turning on troubleshooting mode - Resetting Firefox entirely - Creating a new profile - Reinstalling Firefox (several times) - Installing Firefox for Developers - Flushing DNS - Turning off proxy settings

I really don't want to be forced to use Google Chrome. Is there anything else that I can possibly do that can fix this?

Are there no Add-ons/Extensions any more (115 and beyond) that support any kind of sync with Google/Yahoo/Outlook contacts? Not sure MS Outlook even supports such a thing any more, some kind of vulns in the CardDAV protocol (worked great in 2005-10 era)?

Also, like to report major bugs in the CSV import mechanism, the VCF import got everything right, but the CSV import interface is beyond kludgey; essentially put the columns in the wrong places, and the "dropdowns" had only one value, that the import routine had decided I was constrained to. I would suggest you drop it from the product unless it can be made a bit more "professional" than a junior school computer science project.

I have a brand new install of Thunderbird, and I want to import .mbox files that I converted from Outlook .pst files.

I have seen many support articles saying that to import .mbox files, I need to use the "Local Folders" option in the Folders menu on the left hand side of the main page. I have added the ImportExportTools NG plug-in, but I don't see a "Local Folders" option on my main page.

I must be missing a step. I have attached a screen shot.

Help! I believe that repeated unsuccessful attempts to compact my overly large inbox folder have resulted in all of the available space on my hard drive being taken up by incomplete temporary MBOX files. I want to know how I can get these temporary files out of the way. Thunderbird 115.5.0, 64-bit, Windows 11.

Background: My inbox is admittedly way too large, but in the past I have compacted it regularly without problems. Recently, after deleting many messages, moving some other messages to other mail folders, and emptying the trash, I tried to compact all folders (apparently including folders for another email account), as Thunderbird suggested. That apparently failed. Then, after deleting more messages, emptying the trash, and emptying my Recycle Bin, I tried to compact just the inbox. After working for a while, Thunderbird gave me a message that compaction had failed due to lack of space on the hard drive. Indeed, the hard drive had only a couple hundred MB remaining! I cleared out a lot of files and freed up several gigabytes of storage on the hard drive, then tried again to compact the folder, only to get another failure message after Thunderbird had been working for a while. I removed still more content and gained about twice as much storage as I had had before the previous try, then tried to compact again, and got the same result after a much longer period of compacting effort by Thunderbird.

I am currently using 128.0.1esr (64-bit).

How do I set the colour scheme to be as it was before the latest update? In particular, how do I set the background colour of ALL screens to be white? In the list of emails (e.g the Inbox) the coloured tags that I use are difficult to spot against a black background.

This is the second time that an update has made significant changes to how the system looks. The last time I managed to live with it.
