Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Conduit is a problem, and it states that it's a safe browser. It's not sure, and I had the same problem. If you download something else, make sure that if in the regular instillation it doesn't have conduit, and if there is an option to install it, don't, and install the thing the manual way, and make sure conduit isn't an option to install.

When I opened firefox, last week, the firefox page said a plugin wanted to be installed on my computer. This plugin message did NOT indicate what wanted to be installed on my computer. I ignored this firefox page with the plugin message and opened a new firefox page. Then, I closed the firefox page with the message about plugin. But the plugin was installed on my computer, then, I had conduit. And from firefox pages speedanalysis.net would scan my computer. On 07-23-2013, I opened firefox and speedanaylsis.net started scanning my computer.

It likely forced installed, run a malware check as cor-el has said and make sure you are not downloading junk from cnet or if you are use the "Direct Link" below it

The best suggestion I can give to anyone who sees a webpage message prompting them to update Firefox, update Flash, install a plugin, etc, is to be very careful, since there are numerous reports of fake update notices that result in malware being installed. In the case of Firefox update notices, always update Firefox using these instructions: Update Firefox to the latest release. For other software update notices, always go to the software provider's website.

I un-installed Firefox to get rid of my problem since conduit & mixiDJ was only on Firefox & NOT IE 10 & NOT on Chrome. In August 2013, I re-installed Firefox and Firefox came with npConduitFirefox plugin and MixiDJ tool bar. I un-installed Firefox. Today, December 22, 2013, I went to Mozilla & installed Firefox - & I had MixiDJ V37 tool bar and Norton said I had npConduitFirefoxPlugin. I, immediately un-installed Firefox. I do NOT want Conduit or MixiDJ toobar.
