Hi there, I'm a great fan of Firefox, but I'm having this issue with the Google Street View. My Street View works in Chrome, Safari but not in Firefox (PC or Mac). Do you have any idea about that? I have already disable the Addons and Plugins but still no results. I will really appreciate your answer. Thanks, Nuno Francisco

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Hi Tylerdowner, I've already done it but the problem still remain. In Firefox instead of the street view as it should, I get a grey screen with the nav arrows and the name of the street. For exemple click this link http://immob2.lu/pays/belgique.html?view=propertyshow&pid=493 and then Street View. It works in Chrome, Safari but not Firefox. I also try with the plugins and addons uncheck but still nothing. I really appreciate your help. Many thanks, Nuno Francisco

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

There seems to be a problem with the way the images are positioned around that box. The images are loaded into the page, but appear to be outside the relevant "tab". Unfortunately, the layout generated by Google's scripts is so complex that I don't think I will find a solution myself.

Did this problem just start in Firefox 20?

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "??tp > Permissions"
  • Check that images are enabled: ??to > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in "??to > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
  • Check the "??tp > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).

If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref should be 1.

There are also extensions like Adblock Plus (??ta > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

You can also check the Net log in the Web Console (Tools > Web Developer;Cmd+Shift+K) for errors.
