I am trying to un-link email messages in Thunderbird.
I have a number of messages that are linked via various contacts, when I try to reply to one the messages are almost embedded in each other, so I find it difficult to separate. Anyone got a solution please? Jim

My guess is the folder is threaded. Highlight the folder with the messages, then click view>sort by and tick 'unthreaded.' If the menu bar isn't visible, click the alt key first.
