Thunderbird is broken
I have been getting constant messages when I try to use Thunderbird about Thunderbird being unable to connect, go to Advanced and lower number. It's at 1. Still get message. Now I can't see my Inbox mail. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the situation just gets worse. I am so flummoxed I don't know what to do. I'm a user not a programmer. How do I just start over or should I just realize that Thunderbird is not an email program I can use and go back to my ISP's Zimbra webmail?

Please provide results for the following test on your system;
- Does Thunderbird work as expected in Thunderbird troubleshooting mode?
- Does Thunderbird work as expected with your OS started in safe mode with Networking. Instructions for each operating system: Windows 10/11, Windows 8, Windows 7, OSX
