Thunderbird changed screen view today, and it is a total disaster. Command links are a tiny unrecognizable icons. Is this a bad joke making our lives difficult, or perhaps you want us to leave Thunderbird and search for another email program?!

I tried to customize, but it did not fix anything. If the old well functioning version is no longer available, I will move to another email program.

Really disappointed

That doesn't sound like the design - it sounds like a bug or configuration issue.

I don't understand what you mean by "command links" - we don't know of anything by that name. Can you post a screen shot please so we understand?

There is no bug, the bug is the new design, new appearance of the window. The command links - I mean the icon buttons (such as "get new messages") are too small and difficult to recognize. It saved no space, because now I have a long empty bar where the icons and text used to be. What was gained by messing up a design that was clear, easy to use, functioning very well? And why can't we users opt for an older version if it suits us better? And your comment "I don't understand what you mean by "command links" - we don't know of anything by that name." So well expresses your arrogant attitude towards users.

Very disappointed.
