115 abandoned. It's terrible, I found a way to reinstall 102 and it works great.

How many problems have I had with TB 115, let me count the ways:

  • Subscribed calendars won't display on 115, they work on 102
  • Sent and received emails from my imap with my domain are duplicated and drive me crazy and nobody seems to be able to fix it despite my long string of communications with you all, works fine on 102
  • Non related emails thread together in 115, work fine in 102
  • Many add ons that I use and relay on, in 102 do not work on 115

I just reinstalled my OS from a Time Machine Backup in June. I have my cherished 102 back. I will not update for 6-12 months until you all work out the problems with 115. I'm not a Beta tester, I'm a paying user and I resent the poor quality and lack of effort on several of my problems. I never heard back from you all regarding the subscribed calendars that I can install in 115 but don't display. I never heard back from you all regarding emails appearing in the wrong threads. I did hear back from you all on the duplicates, and for a long time, I could tell you thought it was user error. Then you acknowledged that I knew what I was doing and you tried some fixes but seem to have given up as I haven't heard back for days. This is poor customer service and again, I'm a paying user.

Let me know when you work out your problems. But 115 should never have been released as it's barely a Beta product and it offers little upgrade in terms of appearance and a very large downgrade on usability.

There is a feedback site. The link in on the help menu. I told you about is in July 2022, but apparently you did not gather from information that posting feedback in this forum is off topic. last warning and I will simply remove your account. So I suggest you use the appropriate forum in your future contacts. That is if you have something you want to feedback to the developers. No one here works for the Thunderbird team, they do not actually provide support as such, this is a peer support site ie we are fellow Thunderbird users.

As for your other support requests, be aware that your choice of operating system leaves you with less than 10% of the Thunderbird user base as peers. So anyone that tries to help you will probably not have a clue about macs. They use windows over 90% or Linux.

You may well find the issues are to some extent caused or exacerbated by security software you have installed. waiting for a month or so is often a fix when the problem if say antivirus or software firewall or VPN related. But unless specific issues are mentioned in the release notes, they are unlikely to have been addressed in future releases.

I'm an end user, a paying end user, someone that should be at least given the respect due to the fact that I'm one of the few helping to pay your bills and instead of addressing or listening, you threaten because I violated some protocol. Go ahead, remove my account if you are so inclined.

I have no security software installed, I have no antivirus, no firewall, no VPN, no encryption. As far as I'm concerned, I do appreciate your volunteer work, but the result remains the same. I depended on this program for my daily usage and I've had to spend many hours trying new programs that will work better for me since 115 came out and dramatically affected my workflow in a rather negative manner.
