filters not working on launch
I have set up a few filters, which have been set for many years and worked fine. But recently I set up a new one for payslips, and it only ever works when run manually. I tried changing classification, Subject matter and all other rules, but it refuses to work at anytime except manually.

Is the email in your inbox? I had issues some years ago with Google placing mail in the important folder and then it missed the filters.
Yes from the inbox. It's an AOL account, if that helps. Works when run manually but never works on start up.
