I am trying to add a new gmail account to Thunderbird but when I enter my address and password, a pop up appears in which I need to enter mail address at google. I do this, but it seems to just re-prompt me. I have attached images of the steps taken to try to add the gmail account: tb1.png: I enter name, address, password. tb2.png: TB validates this and adds some server info. tb3.png: a popup opens and my address is pre entered. I click the blue button. tb4.png: I am reprompted for my email address. I can enter my address again and again and click blue button but I am re prompted every time. Seems impossible to proceed from here. If I can open this pop URL in a proper browser to inspect what is going wrong, I could probably fix this issue. However, TB will not let me copy the URL from the address bar which is frankly user hostile behavior :( I have tried doing this on several different internet connections as well as tried disabling pihole, etc. So that does not seem to be the cause.
