How do I search for a Reply-To address withing a folder/account?

Recently, and not for the first time, Thunderbird sent an automatic reply which thankfully bounced. However I couldn't find the offending email when searching for this address. Using a third party tool, namely Agent Ransack aka FileLocator Lite, I found the folder and hence the email.

How can I do this within Thunderbird. I can only select To, From, Cc and/or Bcc. Not Reply-To.

Can anyone let me know if this is possible, if so how?

Thunderbird does not send automatic replied, unless you have a filter that does it. So I am questioning the premise here.

But you use search messages (ctrl+shift+F) to search in the reply-to header field. In the match the following you will need to scroll to the bottom of the list and enter the customize to add the desired message header.

Then use that to search for your mail on a per account basis.

Many thanks.

1) I am able to search for reply addresses using the customised field and find the offending messages. 2) After your comment about automatic replies, I had created a filter that replied to certain addresses with a failure template.

Thanks again
