setting Firefox as default browser

I downloaded the Firefox App on my Android it worked. I also set the default within the settings but my google is still on my desk top I thought it would be replaced by Firefox?

Do I have to manually remove the google app?

Hi

Yes you will. You can just long press on the icon and drag it to "remove" at the top of the screen to keep it out of your way
