Every time I type on Firefox without being in a search box, it opens quick find, and I don't have to press control g/f. I want to know how to disable this from happening. I have search the internet and forums for hours but can't figure out how to disable one simple thing. Thanks

You can find Quick Find on the Options/Preferences page.

  • Options/Preferences -> General: Browsing:
    "Search for text when you start typing"
