Passwords No Longer Working With Latest Version of Firefox
Suddenly, all my passwords got deleted from Firefox last week, and when I went to check, I found that a new version of Firefox had just been installed on my windows 10 desktop. I got the passwords back, but not only do most of them still not work, but even when I sign in manually, they don't work, so I have to reset them for each site (and usually I can reset it to exactly the same password I have been using all along, which is strange by itself). The next time I go to that site, again my password doesn't work, so I open up Chrome and get in with no problem. Thus, it is not just the saving of my passwords that isn't working in Firefox, it is that these sites are not recognizing my correct passwords when I type them in manually on Firefox. Has this happened to anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution? I have used Firefox for years and love it, but I can't continue to use it if it takes me forever to get into all these websites. Thanks.

- Click the Firefox Account icon in the toolbar.
Click ≡ and click sign in firefox
- Click Turn on Sync.
- On the Sign in page, click Forgot password? ...
- Follow the instructions in your reset email to change your password.
- please check mail and follow.
- create new password

Are you using any 3rd party Add-ons in Firefox for the Add-on to append the Lockwise Logins feature in Firefox?
Like a "password manager" Add-on.

A few of those "password manager" Add-ons needed to be updated over the last few new versions that Firefox has released, due to improvements with Lockwise that were done in stages.
This is a complete disaster. I do not use lockwise or any other password manager except Firefox, but I have followed the incredibly complicated instructions in your link above and lost all my bookmarks as well as my passswords.
I guess I'll have no other choice but to delete Firefox completely from my computer. I am sorry to do this, since Firefox has always been my favorite browser for years.
If companies insist on continuously "upgrading" their programs, they need to do so in a way that does not destroy the many hours that users have put in on their older versions.

I don't like Lockwise either, but I ain't going to quit Firefox over a stupid name. Just learn how it works and discover how it works, and learn how to adapt my use to a new new feature.
