How do I save Thunderbird formatted as I like?
I would like my calendar tab shown and my NO message pane selection saved when I exit. When I reopen Thunderbird my preferences are the one I want to see.

TB opens with the tabs and layout that were present at last exit. If it doesn't, Help/Troubleshooting, click Open Folder to open the profile folder, close TB. Delete or rename session.json, restart TB. Does it open as it was when closed?
If you use an app like CCleaner, do not let it act on TB.

Believe Privacy Eraser also removes that file. Thank you for your timely and on point explanation.
