Hi Thunderbird needs to use the same password that you use when you access your emails online - at your webmail site. If you can log in to webmail manually, using your password, and that works, then entering the same password in Thunderbird should solve your problem. Agnes

Please answer these questions - Did you successfully log in to your mail online using webmail, having entered your password manually? That step confirms that your email service is actually using the password you think it should use. After you confirm the password works online - Then did you enter the same password in Thunderbird when prompted?

When you have completed these steps, please post the answers. If you still cannot connect, post a picture of the error message you get.

I'm not clear which "the site" you are referring to? If you mean the webmail site does not recognise your password, that would be why Thunderbird can't download your messages. Your phone and your tablet still connect OK - right? So find out what the stored password for your email is on those devices. Use the same one in Webmail. Then set Thunderbird to use the same password. Agnes
