Syncing contacts on Macbook pro and Thunderbird mail.
I have just started using TB. I don't like any of the other mail clients including mac mail. I want something that I can have that accesses my address book on my mac. I have considered using Google contacts for my source, but I am not sure about how to set that up either. My main focus is, I want to go into my mail account, and if I have not sent a mail to a contact previously but do have their email account, it will come up. I have also had issues with sending mail previously to clients but when I go to start a new mail, their email address doesn't come up.
Any assistance would be great. Bret

To have TB access the Mac address book:

Make sure address autocomplete is enabled in Preferences/Composition/Addressing. Then, type the first letters in a contact's name or address in the To: box to activate autocomplete. The contacts sidebar (F9 in a Write window) also provides access to address books.
