My firefox is crashing every time that I visit certain websites.
For example, if I try to purchase something on bestbuy.com, the page hangs and I cannot close. I'm using 64.0.2.
It seems as if there is a page approval of some kind required, but it is not displaying on any windows. The reason I think this is because I get the same audible tone when I try to do anything on the browser as I would get if there was an unanswered pop-up that needed to be dismissed.

Several of the most recent crash reports say "Failed" when I tried to submit them. Removing flash may have solved the issue. Does this mean I cannot run flash?
Are you having no more problem? Then something was bad in flash.
Flash Player
Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

So, with your help, I have definitely narrowed the issue to the flash player. When flash is uninstalled, everything works fine.
However, there doesn't seem to be any way to get flash capability without getting the problem back. When I use the links you provided and install flash for firefox and windows 10, the problem comes back.
With flash installed, all other browsers work fine on the problem websites (chrome, for example), but Firefox locks up.
So, how to I get flash to work with Firefox? Without flash installed, I cannot use the websites I need.

Can you post a few links to the problem pages?
Here is an example of a link that causes Firefox to hang if flash is installed: https://www.bestbuy.com/identity/guest?token=tid%3A90f88c3e-2a32-11e9-9367-005056ae5604
The link works fine with Chrome.

The link you posted gave me that message. This was when you were logging in, yes? That is why.
No. I did not see any message and I was not logging in. I used the guest feature. This is an issue on many websites, not just BestBuy.
Have you

Try going to homedepot.com and searching on anything. If you try a search, FF locks up.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
