Setup account with remember PW. Need to turn off this option. How?
When I originally setup an account, I did not uncheck remember password. Now I wish to turn off this option, but cannot find the place to do it. Where?
All advice is welcome. Thanks for helping.

Thanks for the help. It came close to solving the problem. I'm on a Mac. To change password settings, go to Thunderbird/Preferences/Security/Saved Passwords, select the account(s) and click remove button, or to get rid of all saved passwords, click remove all. Hope this helps another Mac user. This would be great to add to the help information.

Go to Tools|Options|Security|Passwords→Saved Passwords and delete any unwanted passwords. It will (should?) then prompt you to enter the password when needed, and then you have the option to tick or untick the "remember" checkbox.
