How do I add the current profile name to the window title?

Environment: Windows 8.1, both Tbird release and Daily (x64).

For performance reasons, I need to run multiple Tbird profiles simultaneously. I can't see an easy way to determine which window is running which profile from the Windows taskbar hover or the CoolSwitch (a.k.a. Alt+Tab). In most cases, there's enough information in the tab title that can help, but for various reasons I may have the same email address in more than one profile.

Firefox has a nice add-on called Show Profile, which prepends the profile name to the title. However, this isn't compatible with Tbird. I'd like to do something similar.

I did try the Titlebar Tweaker add-on, but it's not working. (I have not yet emailed the developer). It could just be that I haven't quite figured out yet what needs to be done.

Internet searching finds several people with the same desire, but the suggestions either don't provide an answer, or, even worse, provide an answer to a different question.

I am open to updating userChrome.css or other files manually in each profile.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Read the 2nd paragraph here and see if the add-on does what you want.

Interesting. That doesn't rank high in Google. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Thanks, sfhowes! I found that if you use ThunderBrowse, you need to switch the tab support to TB3 from TB2 (the internal ones), plus change the infamous mail.tabs.drawInTitlebar to false. (This may have also been the issue with T-Bird Titlebar Tweaker; I'll try that on another profile.)

The add-on is ProfileSwitcher 1.6.2, and it's a pretty good lightweight profile switcher for all Mozilla products.
