I cannot create a new subfolder in one of my mail accounts. (All of my other accounts/inboxes I can create new folders)

What's the account type - POP or IMAP? What's your email provider?

1. Account Type is IMAP.
2. The email account is hosted through my hosting package with domains.co.za. What details do your require?

Can you create a folder via webmail and then subscribe to it in Thunderbird? You may check with your email provider about the problem.
I cannot create a new sub folder in webmail either. I assume this would suggest that the problem lies with the email provider and not thunderbird?
