I have MSN set as my homepage, but when I opened my browser yesterday, I was redirected to a "portal >>tickler" screen asking me to choose the site that I wished to access, either msn.com or ninemsn.com. The problem is that even though I click on one of the options nothing happens. I am left with this floating box, under which is this site: http://iat.ninemsn.com.au/tickler/default.aspx. Even when I try to type the correct URL directly into the address bar I am diverted to this site.

I'm having the same problem.

I have tried deleting all cookies, emptying the cache, blocking cookies for the site; I even went into my Library Prefs on my computer and deleted the plist for Firefox. Nothing is working. When I hover the cursor over the options on the floating box I notice that the bar on the bottom of the browser window says:

javascript:void(0);

Going directly to the MSN page that asks which country you want does no good either - if I select the United States I am still "hijacked" by the Australian site.

Today all of a sudden I no longer have the problem. I don't know if deleting the plist is what finally did it, or if MSN took care of it.
