No internet connection without refreshing Firefox
I use Firefox with Windows 7 64bit in Version 44. My Problems started a few weeks ago when I recognized, that I could not start Firefox from time to time without an error message (it was an earlier Version of Firefox which I unfortunally do not know anymore). After updating to the earliest Version, I could start Firefox again as I wish to. My Problem now is, that I get no internet connection anymore (there is no error; Internet Explorer still works). I searched on your support-pages I tried out a lot of things: - I deinstalled Firefox and deleted my Profile. After this I reinstalled Firefox -> The first start was ok, after this no Connection anymore. - Everytime I refresh Firefox, it will work without Problems. After a restart I will not have Connection without refreshing Firefox again. - Same symptomatic when I start Firefox in safe mode (it will work). Cause of this I disabled every add-on I have without any success.
Any ideas?

I found out the reason for my problems: sun java runtime enviroment. Now all is fine again as I want...

try to boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) and then see if that allows to start firefox.
If firefox works in Windows Safe mode then probably you have problem with other software, like security software or maybe a system driver, that is running on your computer. Please remove all rules for Firefox and plugin-container from the permissions list in the your firewall and let your firewall ask again for permissions to get full access to Firefox installation and at the plugin-container process and also for updater process.

Unfortunally Firefox is still not working in safe-mode. I am trying to find out what happened to Firefox after updating to the last two versions (since then it is not working fine anymore). The strange thing is that every other browser is working fine, but Firefox does not. There is no firewall on my system, but the windows one.
