Firefox blocks Youtube because it is run through school "filter"
My school system (Raleigh County Schools, WV), blocks youtube on its network unless I have a username password to access youtube (I'm a teacher). Because it's not the "normal" way to get to youtube, Firefox says "This connection is untrusted." How do I tell firefox that this site is safe?
www.youtube.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: wvde.k12.wv.us, www.wvde.k12.wv.us, access.k12.wv.us, development.k12.wv.us, docs.k12.wv.us, files.k12.wv.us, proxy.k12.wv.us, static.k12.wv.us, video.k12.wv.us, webmail.k12.wv.us, webtop.k12.wv.us, wveis.k12.wv.us, wviep.k12.wv.us (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

Your school IT staff has poorly configured the certificates, they are injecting into the wrong places, which keeps Firefox from going to HTTPs sites. Contact your school IT for help.
You would have to contact the IT department and ask them how you can install the root certificate of that proxy in Firefox (*.k12.wv.us). You need to set the appropriate check box make this root certificate to trust web pages when prompted.
