Why do things dissappear on the page, can't even see when typing
When I hoover over any part of a page it disappears. When I type in this box all characters disappear. Sometimes half the web page is gone and then will come back only to disappear again when I hoover over it.
If I run in safe mode it appears to work okay, but then I loose my bookmarks and tabs. I have not added any new addons since before this problem started.
It happens on all sites I open.

Hello,
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
- Click the menu button and select Options
- In the Firefox Options (or Preferences) window, click the Advanced tab, then select General.
- In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
- Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base article:
--- If it didn't help, then likely one of your extensions is causing problems. You can follow some tips in this article to help figure out which one.
Did the problem occur recently? It could be that an old extension isn't playing nice with a Firefox update, or a recently updated extension causes problems for some users.
If your right click your tab bar, you can bookmark all of your open tabs in the window to a bookmark folder. Please see these article to see how you can backup your bookmarks:
- Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer
- Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks
- Import Bookmarks from an HTML file
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Thank you.
